    DAYRIT WINS HISTORIC MEDAL

    As the first incumbent Confederation president winning a medal in an international fencing competition, FCA President Celso Dayrit made history at the 3rd Asian Veterans Fencing Championships held in Bangkok Thailand from September 9 to 12, 2017. Dayrit won a bronze medal, competing in the Men's Epee 60 - 69 category participated in by 13 fencers from 8 countries. He lost in the semi-finals against eventual gold medalist Capt. Santitevagul Suttipong from Thailand. The silver medal went to Mr. Jean Cuneo from the Pacific island of French Tahiti.
