From August 19-24, 2018 the Cendrawasih Hall of the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) was the sight of all the fencing action during the Games. The venue was converted into world class fencing Field of Play with four colored pistes, one final podium, four giant LED screens showing the results in each pistes during the elimination rounds and video playback during the finals. An adjacent preliminary hall was also constructed with eight pistes making sure that there were ample competition pistes throughout the Games. The spacious basement of the JCC provided the athletes lounge, weapons check room, NTO lounge and space for 8 practise pistes.
