South Korea's Oh Sang-uk claimed his first International Fencing Federation (FIE) Sabre Grand Prix title of the year at the VTB Ice Palace in the Russian capital Moscow
The world number six, who had beaten 2014 Asian Games silver medallist Mojtaba Abedini of Iran in his 15-9 semi-final, met 2015 World Championship gold medal winner Luca Curatoli of Italy in the final.
He put in a convincing display to eventually emerge as a 15-8 winner.
Curatoli had caused an upset in his semi-final earlier in the day by beating world number one Gu Bongil of South Korea by a 15-11 scoreline.
