TAIPEI GEARS UP WITH AN EVENTFUL MONTH IN AUGUST

The capital city of Taiwan, is gearing up with an eventful month in August with two major continental competitions and two major FCA activities. Slated for August 16 to 20, Taipei City will play host to the 5th Asian Veterans Fencing Championships and all weapons competition under the Asian Cadet Circuit, which promises to bring together the young and the old fencers in a rare fashion of simultaneous competitions under one roof. The two competitions will be held at two separate levels (the AVFC at the 4th Floor while the ACC at the 7th Floor) of the Taipei Gymnasium, in Taipei City

Moreover, the FCA in coordination with the Chinese Taipei Fencing Federation have agreed to organize two developmental activities. From August 13 to 17, 2019 a Competition Management Seminar and an FCA C License Referees Exam will be held in two separate lecture rooms. Participants in the Competition Management Seminar will use the Asian Veterans Championships for their practical training, while candidates for the FCA C License Referees Exam will use the Asian Cadet Circuit competitions for their practical exams.
