    UZBEKISTAN TO ORGANIZE 2021 AJCFC

For the first time ever, Uzbekistan will host an FCA competition by organizing the Asian Juniors and Cadets Fencing Championships in 2021. The competition will be held in the capital city of Tashkent which was also the city which hosted the World Juniors and Cadets Fencing Championships in 2015.

Uzbekistan will be the second country in Central Asia after Kazakhstan hosted the AJCFC in 2007.

Prospective hosts for the other events in 2021 were deferred pending submission of written Bids from interested federations. However, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have signified their interest to possibly organize the AFC seniors while the State of Kuwait showed interest in hosting the Asian Under 23 Championships again following their hosting of the same event in 2013. The host for the 2012 Asian Veterans Championships is also still up for grabs.
