FCA ELECTS NEW EXECUTIVE BOARD

The General Assembly of the Fencing Confederation of Asia held its elections in Tokyo Japan on October 24, 2016. The elections in Asia are held every four years following the Olympic and the FIE quadrennial cycle.

The new FCA Executive Board (which replaces the Executive Committee based on the amended FCA Statutes) would serve until 2020 after the Olympic Games.

President CELSO DAYRIT and Secretary General KHALED ATIYAT were both re-elected unopposed

The new FCA Executive Board is now composed of the following:
