    SECRETARY GENERAL OF FENCING ASSOCIATION OF INDIA PASSED AWAY

    Secretary General Sh Rajendra Singh Rana passed away on the night of 26th October, he was suffering from cancer and was undergoing treatment for last few months.

    Born on 1st Jan 1960 , he was a prominent Boxer of the state and participated in many National Championships during his student life, he was working as Minister of State , Government of Uttar Pradesh , Lucknow , India and was associated with State Olympic Association & state Fencing association.

    His death is a great set back for FAI and many other sport organisations as he was always ready to serve the sportsmen.

    On behalf of the Fencing Confederation of Asia, President Celso Dayrit, expressed his deepest sympathy to the family of the late Sec. Gen. Singh Rana, he wished the family the much needed comfort and peace during this sad time.
