    SHENG LEI

    Sheng Lei is a prodigious foilist. In 2003, he became World Champion (team foil) at the World Junior Championships. He won the bronze medal (individual foil) at the 2006 World Senior Championships; the gold medal (team foil) and silver medal (individual foil) at the 2010 World Senior Championships; the gold medal (team foil) at the 2011 World Senior Championships. Finally, he won the gold medal (individual foil) at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

    He was first in the FIE ranking in the 2009-2010 season.
